Mary’s glory

TWELVE Trots runners donned their head torches and trail shoes to take part in the Narberth Night Nobbler, a 10km multi-terrain race.

Mary Anthony was second lady and first in the F55 category to take 40th place overall.

Aled Jones-Davies was first from the club in sixth place. Behind him came Chris Lloyd in 11th, Richard Phillips 17th, Anthony, Jim Dilks 47th, Simon Scurrell 59th, Sarah Roberts 89th, Rachel Holland 91st, Marian Davies 139th, Rebecca Dilks 176th, Helen Lewis 208th and Yvonne Davies 233rd.

Joanne Bowes finished 14th to win the F45 category in the Royal Welsh 10k at the Botanic Gardens. Vincent Bailey was 10th, Karen Bowman 46th, Emma Perkins 81st and Meleri Campbell 82nd.

In the 5km race Sally Martin was first lady in 13th, with Liz James 30th.
