THE Stroke Association would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our incredible supporters and volunteers for the amazing dedication and commitment shown throughout 2018 to help us support stroke survivors and their families here in Wales.

Around 7,400 people have a stroke in Wales each year and almost 68,000 survivors are living with the effects of stroke. Your generosity has helped us offer much-valued support to many survivors and their families.

It has been a recordbreaking year for some of our fundraising events. We would also like to extend our sincerest thanks to the local businesses, organisations and sporting clubs who adopted us as their nominated ‘charity partner’ for 2018 as they have been instrumental in helping us raise awareness of stroke and stroke prevention and helping to fund vital research projects.
