YSTALYFERA went top of One West Central with 34-13 win at Brynaman.

They are now two points clear of Glynneath, who were due to face Skewen but the match was postponed due to an unplayable pitch.

In the battle between sides at the bottom, Tondu struck a blow as they beat Aberavon Quins 15-7, Ammanford were 27-14 home victors over Maesteg Celtic and Waunarlwyd­d were beaten 28-12 at home by Kenfig Hill.

Birchgrove remain unbeaten in Two West Central and have moved six points clear of Resolven at the summit after they defeated Nantyffyll­on 13-8 in the only game played in that division.

Swansea Uplands enjoyed a 40-10 home win over Aberavon Green Stars in Three West Central A, with Tonmawr recording a 25-17 success at Neath Athletic.

Cefn Cribwr put 50 points on Pontycymer without reply in Three West Central B, and Rhigos defeated Briton Ferry 27-17.

The top two both lost in Three West Central C.

Leaders Penygroes slipped to only their second defeat of the campaign, 15-12 at home against South Gower, but Pantyffynn­on were unable to take advantage as they were beaten 31-17 by Pontyates.

Furnace United thumped Fall Bay 59-17 and Cwmgwrach edged out Cwmtwrch 8-6.
