Big two set for cup clash

AS well as semi-final spots, bragging rights will be on the line next month when Costcutter League and Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth League rivals clash in three of the quarter-final ties in Cwpan Coffa Dai Dynamo Davies.

The tie of the round is undoubtedly the confrontation between unbeaten runaway Costcutter leaders St Dogmaels and their Aber counterparts Penparcau in the Teifi Estuary village.

Saints have won all nine of their league matches so far this term to be clear of reigning champions Lampeter Town, while Penparcau have tasted defeat just once in 11 games and are six points clear at the top of the table.

Llandysul visit Bow Street Reserves, who are currently bottom of the Cambrian Tyres, while second-placed Crannog host Llanilar.
