Ammanford on climb?

-

AMMANFORD will look to climb a few places up the Welsh League division one table when they host Cwmbran Celtic on Saturday.

The Manor Road club were sidelined at the weekend as their home game against Afan Lido was one of a number to fall victim to the wet and windy conditions.

It means they sit ninth in the table but could leapfrog a couple of the sides above them if they see off Cwmbran.

The following weekend they host Cambrian & Clydach, one of a number of sides challenging for the title. The Rhondda club showed their quality last month when defeating The New Saints in the semi-finals of the Nathaniel MG Cup.

In division two, Garden Village host former Welsh League champions Caerau Ely on Saturday.
