Dilks make Trots mark

TEN Trots com­peted for West Wales in the Welsh In­ter-re­gional Cross Coun­try Cham­pi­onships at Llan­drindod Wells.

Four­teen-year-old Archie Dilks made his mark as the first ju­nior from the club to rep­re­sent the re­gion, fin­ish­ing 46th in the un­der-15 boys’ race and bring­ing home a team gold medal for West Wales.

Sil­ver and bronze went to Mary An­thony and Lindy Eynon in the Mas­ters F55 cat­e­gory, and Kevin Grif­fiths claimed bronze in the M55 cat­e­gory.

This trio also helped West Wales to win team gold in their re­spec­tive cat­e­gories.

Luke Evans was also part of a win­ning West Wales team in the un­der-20s men’s race, fin­ish­ing 19th.

Kevin Grif­fiths won the M50 cat­e­gory, fin­ish­ing fifth over­all in the Broad Haven Christmas Pud­ding 10k. Archie Dilks was first ju­nior and Mary An­thony and Lindy Eynon were first and sec­ond F55.
