Dilks make Trots mark

TEN Trots competed for West Wales in the Welsh Inter-regional Cross Country Championsh­ips at Llandrindo­d Wells.

Fourteen-year-old Archie Dilks made his mark as the first junior from the club to represent the region, finishing 46th in the under-15 boys’ race and bringing home a team gold medal for West Wales.

Silver and bronze went to Mary Anthony and Lindy Eynon in the Masters F55 category, and Kevin Griffiths claimed bronze in the M55 category.

This trio also helped West Wales to win team gold in their respective categories.

Luke Evans was also part of a winning West Wales team in the under-20s men’s race, finishing 19th.

Kevin Griffiths won the M50 category, finishing fifth overall in the Broad Haven Christmas Pudding 10k. Archie Dilks was first junior and Mary Anthony and Lindy Eynon were first and second F55.
