Scarlets spread some festive cheer on hospital wards
MEMBERS of the Scarlets’ squad visited Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen to spread some festive cheer.
The players went along to Cilgerran children’s ward to bring some festive joy to the children who will be in hospital over Christmas.
The visit saw them move from bed to bed, visiting children and handing out a Christmas gift, signing autographs as well as posing for photographs.
The visits, which have become an annual event in the region’s calendar, are an opportunity for the players to give something back to the region.
While on the ward Steff Evans, Will Boyde, Javan Sebastian, Dan Jones and Rhys Patchell talked to children and chatted with staff about their workload over Christmas.
The Scarlets would like to thank all the staff at the ward for their warm welcome and a speedy recovery to all of the patients.
