Family Dance Festival will take place on April 18 at noon, 2pm and 4pm outside Ffwrnes Theatre. It is a free event and will feature professional dance companies from around Wales and local youth groups. There will also be free workshops after each performance. No pre-booking required.

(NPT) update Local police are reminding everybody that carrying a knife illegally can result in a four-year prison sentence for adults and an unlimited fine. Here are the laws around buying and carrying a knife – including when you’re allowed to carry a knife as part of your job. It’s illegal to: sell a knife to anyone under 18, carry a knife in public without good reason, unless it has a folding blade with a cutting edge three inches long or less carry, buy or sell any type of banned knife, use any knife in a threatening way (even a legal knife).
