UP­PER Tum­ble Blues claimed one of their best re­sults of the sea­son in the Llanelli Snooker League when they low­ered the colours of Match­room Whites 6-1 thanks to El­liott Rees (38 break), Mark Hughes, Car­wyn Cue, Joe Evans and Chris Rees. Tom Twigg’s frame win pre­vented a white­wash.

Else­where, lead­ers Match­room Reds were 5-2 win­ners against vis­it­ing Trim­saran A cour­tesy of Phil Wil­liams, An­drew Rosser, Rhys Mor­gans and Paul Thomas. Mark Fore­man and Alan Em­manuel won for Trim.

Dean Thomas, Keri Phillips, James White and Gar­net Lane steered Burry Port Le­gion to a 5-2 vic­tory at high­fly­ing Pon­ty­berem, for whom Craig Rees and Kevin Sel­wood supplied the points.

Llanelli Cons A gained a use­ful 5-2 win at Gor­seinon Work­men’s A, with Bernard Price, Dean Bowen, Gavin Quin­nell and Paul Evans on top. Mike Dodd and Luke Mur­rell struck for the Brighton Road side.

Llandy­bie So­cial A edged a 4-3 ag­gre­gate win against Read­ing Room Blues thanks to Tim Wal­ters, Peter Howat­son and Lyn­d­say Pugh. Peter Kelly, Neil Roberts and Steve Gre­aney were on song for the Burry Port men.

Burry Port Read­ing Room Reds de­feated Pon­tard­du­lais Work­men’s A 4-3 with Adrian Gower, Tony Redmond and Carl Mor­gan win­ning. Adam Grif­fiths, Keri Davies and Dean Marston won for the Bont side.

Rob Hughes, Nicky Hughes and Greg Davies gave Morfa So­cial a 4-3 win against Snooker World A. Alan Jones, John Mead­ows and Cal­lum Jack­son were on the ball for the Am­man­ford side.

Di­vi­sion two pace-set­ters Cross Hands B claimed a fur­ther 5-2 vic­tory on their visit to Ty­croes RFC B thanks to Adrian Phillips, Jeff Jones, Mal Jones and Dai Isaac. M. Davies and Marc Wal­ters replied.

Lee O’Neill (29), David Gabe and Peter Hop­kins edged a 4-3 win for Pon­tard­du­lais Work­men’s B against Llanesco, who hit back via Shaun Ca­ton (33), Peter Shoul­der and Mark Evans.

Sim­i­larly, New Lodge B re­quired the ag­gre­gate point to se­cure a 4-3 suc­cess at Bryn & Trallwm cour­tesy of Leigh Lewis, Ge­orge Langford and Roy Mor­gan.

Craig Wil­liams, Roy Richards and Den­nis Davies replied.

CGMD were 5-2 win­ners at Pon­tard­du­lais Cons, while Dy­lan Jones, Richard Davies, Liam McGhee and Dar Sigsworth steered Llandy­bie RFC to a 5-2 win at Cal­sonic Ri­vals, whose frame-win­ners were Aaron Cruick­shank and James An­thony.

Greg James, Bran­don Brown and Jamie Gim­blett gave Great Moun­tain, Tum­ble, a 4-3 home vic­tory against Pon­thenri So­cial, for whom Stephen Rees, Craig Chandler and Jeff How­ells chalked up wins.

Llanelli Cons B de­feated Llandy­bie So­cial B 4-3 after Kev John, Paul An­gelone and G. Ed­wards supplied wins. Steve Pear­son, Howard Wood and Peter Watkins hit back for Llandy­bie.

Ty­croes RFC B earned a re­ar­ranged 5-2 win at high-fly­ing Pon­thenri So­cial thanks to Marc Wal­ters, Mike Davies, Colin Jones and Matthew Davies.
