‘A big bawdy barrel of laughs’

-

IN Buttons Undone, Cinderella and Prince Charming are going through a bad patch.

While they’re still very much in love, unfortunately the Prince is unable to fulfil some of his duties . . .

Matters aren’t helped when Cinderella’s Ugly step-sisters Flavia and Lavia get wind of what’s happening and decide one of them should ‘cure’ the Prince by seducing him.

Things get even more complicated when Cinderella’s father the Baron and his assistant Buttons return from a world cruise.

Starved of affection and knowing that Buttons has always carried a torch for her, Cinderella turns to Buttons for solace . . .

Buttons Undone is billed as a big bawdy barrel of laughs.

Although it is aimed at over-18s, it doesn’t contain any crude four-letter words.

The humour is unashamedly in the Great British ‘Carry On’ tradition of rib-tickling double entendres and innuendo.

The frantic frolics and saucy shenanigans happening on stage are held together by Wales’s undisputed King Of Comedy Owen Money as Buttons.

You can see the show at the following dates: April 26-27: Blackwood Miners Institute; May 3-4: Maesteg Town Hall, Maesteg; May 5: The Coliseum, Aberdare; May 10- 11: Swansea Grand, Swansea; May 17- 18: The Lyric, Carmarthen; June 14: The Riverfront, Newport.
