Ty Golau A warm welcome to attend Ty Golau, a group of people with memory problems, who meet at Mynyddygarreg Welfare Hall every Wednesday from 10.30am to noon. Activities include reminiscences, themed quizzes, sing- alongs, music and movement and lots more. If you wish to hear more information, contact Janet Lewis on 01554 890896.
Probus The May meeting for Probus will be held on May 22 and it will be Head Teachers’ Memoirs by Brian Hitchman. Probus meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month in the conference room at the rear of the Gwenllian Centre.
Senior Citizens The May meeting will be held at Mynyddygarreg Hall today at 2.30pm.

Sympathy is extended to the family of the late Derrick Garett of Brynhefin. He will be sadly missed by his many family and friends. The funeral took place on Tuesday, April 30, at 11am with a service at Tabernacle Chapel (Autumn Leaf Chapel of Rest) Burry Port, followed by interment at Horeb Chapel cemetery at 12.15pm. Rest in peace.
Bingo sessions are held at Clwb Rygbi Mynyddygarreg every Wednesday evening at 7pm. Welfare coffee mornings for Kidwelly are held at Kidwelly Rugby Club on May 14 and 28.
