Club members jumping for joy after golden success

USK Valley/Sauterelle Trampoline Club members were jumping for joy after 13 of their trampolinists competed at the Welsh Trampoline Regional Qualifier for National Development, some also winning medals — there was gold for the 11-12s and silver in the 13+ age group.

The competition took place at the Sport Wales National Centre in Cardiff and was a one-off event for these qualifiers only, so all the members had competed well at previous events to be eligible for this one. This is the platform from which the Welsh NDP team was chosen.

To achieve this, against the best in Wales at their respective age and ability groups, competitors had to gain a further higher qualification score of 48 this time, pass a floor routine (minimum pass mark of 70%) and also finish in the top two of their groups.
