GB call-up

RISING West Wales swimming star Rhys Davies is included in the Great Britain squad of 24 for the World Para Championships in London in September.

The 17-year-old from Llangoedmor near Cardigan is the only Welsh representative.

In the latest International Paralympic Committee rankings, he is ranked number one in the world in the 200-metre backstroke and fifth in the 100metre backstroke.
