CASM meets every Tuesday from 5.30pm to 8.30pm at St Barnabus Hall, Llewellyn Street, Llanelli. We are a confidenti­al service, we can offer support and counsellin­g for the carer, we can also meet up outside of group meetings for an informal chat. CASM is an independen­t organisati­on based in Llanelli, a volunteer-led group dedicated to supporting those who care for a loved one who suffers from alcoholism or drug addiction. We have all had experience of living with and caring for someone in addiction, we’ve all been there and have a wealth of knowledge of how to cope, for more details please ring Sarah, our chairperso­n on 07805 326063.

PCSO Scott Jones is in the Hwb every Wednesday from 1am to noon to provide advice and support to the centre’s customers.

Pre-school storytime is held every Wednesday from 10.15am to 11.15am at Llanelli Children’s Library. Today’s subject is all things sweet (for National Doughnut Week).

Soup station is held from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Greenfield Chapel every Wednesday. There is soup, bread rolls, cakes, biscuits, tea and coffee and a big friendly welcome. Why not drop in?

Llanelli Ramblers Will take a six-mile moderate walk in Llyn Llech Owain toiday. Call Sandra or Eirwen on 777772. On Saturday the ramblers’ Cymru Coast PathWalk will go from Llanelli to Burry Port and it will be a four-and-a-half-mile, easy walk. Ring Tita on 01639 795814. Walks no longer start from the leisure centre. If unsure about starting point, contact the walk leader. Llanelli and District Probus Club Will meet at 10.30am tomorrow in Furnace RFC.

Station Men’s Shed Meets every Friday and Saturday, from 10am to 2pm on Great Western Terrace, next to the north side of Llanelli Rail Station. The ‘shed’ is where like-minded men who want to share their practical skills, learn new expertise and explore their talents and interests and socialise in a stress-free environmen­t. hold a plant sale on Saturday opposite Parc Howard Mansion House from 9.30am to noon. There will be a variety of shrubs, herbaceous and bedding plants for sale. Kolonia The cafe for everyone holds a coffee morning from 10am to noon at Ty Gwyn Community Church every Monday.

Low Vision Drop-in is held at Llanelli Blind Society, 18 Vaughan Street, every Monday from 10am to 1pm. Cuppa Club Will be held on Monday from 11am to 1pm at the back of Llanelli Library.

Llanelli Breast Cancer Support Group Will meet in Glenalla Community Hall at 7pm on Monday.

Sing With Us Choir Practices at the Atheneum in Llanelli Library every Tuesday from 6.30pm to 8pm. Anyone affected by cancer along with family and friends will receive a warm welcome.
