Chance to join £1bn tender bid

CONSTRUCTION and maintenance industry contractors are being invited to tender for a new South West Wales Regional Contractors Framework worth up to £1 billion.

Carmarthenshire Council, in association with Neath Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire Ceredigion and Swansea councils, is undertaking a procurement exercise to establish a framework agreement for use by public and voluntary sector organisations based in the five counties or who operate within the Powys region. The framework will assist the region and the wider public sector to construct, refurbish and repair buildings for the next four years, until 2024.

Prospective candidates are invited to attend on May 22, at the Quinnell Lounge, Parc Y Scarlets, Llanelli.
