Chance to join £1bn ten­der bid

CON­STRUC­TION and main­te­nance in­dus­try con­trac­tors are be­ing in­vited to ten­der for a new South West Wales Re­gional Con­trac­tors Frame­work worth up to £1 bil­lion.

Car­marthen­shire Coun­cil, in as­so­ci­a­tion with Neath Port Tal­bot, Pem­brokeshire Ceredi­gion and Swansea coun­cils, is un­der­tak­ing a pro­cure­ment ex­er­cise to es­tab­lish a frame­work agree­ment for use by pub­lic and vol­un­tary sec­tor or­gan­i­sa­tions based in the five coun­ties or who op­er­ate within the Powys re­gion. The frame­work will as­sist the re­gion and the wider pub­lic sec­tor to con­struct, re­fur­bish and re­pair build­ings for the next four years, un­til 2024.

Prospec­tive can­di­dates are in­vited to at­tend on May 22, at the Quin­nell Lounge, Parc Y Scar­lets, Llanelli.
