Having fun for Steff
SPORTS fans are expected to gather in large numbers at St Dogmaels on Sunday for a second annual family fun day in memory of a stalwart of the village football club who was killed in a road accident.
Steff Thomas, aged 32, a former player and committeeman, died outside Cardigan in October 2017.
Steff’s Fun Day at the School Field ground runs from 10.30am until 11pm, with the main football game between newlycrowned Costcutter League champions St Dogmaels and The Welsh Fans, with a junior tournament also likely to prove popular.
Attractions include a licensed bar, a wide variety of stalls, including beat the keeper, hook a duck, a tombola, darts poker, face painting, glitter tattoos and a bouncy castle.
Live entertainment will be provided throughout the day.
Proceeds go to the local club and the Wales football supporters’ charity Gol, which was close to Steff’s heart. Further details can be obtained from any club member.
The organisers wish to thank the many sponsors for their support.
