NIKE makes a few great apps; its Running and Training Club apps are great for those who need help getting up to speed.
The Nike app, on the other hand, is more or less a shop to buy Nike stuff, and a very nice one it is too.
What’s more interesting than that is the fact it will
soon support augmented reality, which in turn powers a new system of measuring your feet.
And while that might sound comical, it does solve a real problem people have when buying online: how do you know they’ll fit?
It’s no secret that not all size nines are the same,
and some people have feet that are two different sizes.
You’ll be able to point your phone at your feet within the app and order your trainers with confidence that when they come, they’ll fit.
It’ll come to Europe in August, after launching in the US in July.
