Llanelli U3A Mon­day, Snooker Group meets in Terry Grif­fiths’ snooker hall at 10.15am for 10.30am fol­lowed at 3pm by our Ta­ble Ten­nis Group which meets at the Leisure Centre. Tues­day, cof­fee morn­ing held in Felin­foel Com­mu­nity Re­source Centre at 10.30am (please bring your own cup). Wed­nes­day, June 5, Board Games in Felin­foel Com­mu­nity Re­source Centre at 2pm. Fri­day, June 7, Light-hearted Look at His­tory Group meets in Llan­erch Com­mu­nity Centre at 2pm. The sub­ject is Ti­nop­o­lis. Mon­day, June 10, Walk­ing Groups. This walk will be “A Wa­ter­fall Walk” start­ing from the An­gel Inn, Pontneddfe­chan, near Glyn­neath. Meet at the An­gel Inn by 10.15am. Tues­day, June 11, Gar­den Group will visit Cae Hir Gar­den, Cribyn, Lam­peter. Meet here at 10.30am and our Dis­cus­sion Group meets in Llan­erch Com­mu­nity Centre at 2pm. Wed­nes­day, June 12, Boules Group meets at the Pavil­ion Field, Pwll, at 10.15am and the Monthly Lec­ture meets in Felin­foel Com­mu­nity Re­source Centre at 2pm. John Wynne will be speak­ing on “Hop­kins – Work of an artist”. Mon­day, June 17, Snooker Group meets in Terry Grif­fiths’ snooker hall at 10.15am for 10.30am; Book Group meets in Caroline’s home at 11am and the Ta­ble Ten­nis Group meets in the Leisure Centre at 3pm. Tues­day, June 18, Cy­cling Group meets at 10.30am and will be cy­cling from Dun­vant to Black­pill, Swansea. The Short Walk Group will walk around Pem­brey Har­bour. Meet in car park at 10.30am. Wed­nes­day, June 19, Craft Group meets in Felin­foel Com­mu­nity Re­source Centre at 2pm. Thurs­day, June 20, Clas­si­cal Mu­sic Ap­pre­ci­a­tion Group meets in Peter Chin’s home at 2pm. Fri­day, June 21, “Scrib­blers and Scripts” creative writ­ing group meets in Caroline’s home at 10.30am. CASM is an in­de­pen­dent or­gan­i­sa­tion based in Llanelli, a vol­un­teer-led group ded­i­cated to sup­port­ing those who care for a loved one who suf­fers from al­co­holism or drug ad­dic­tion. Ty Go­lau is a health and well-be­ing group for peo­ple with memory prob­lems/Alzheimer’stype ill­nesses that meets every Thurs­day from 10.30am to noon at An­ti­och Centre, Cop­per­works Road. Ac­tiv­i­ties in­clude rem­i­nis­cence ther­apy, themed quizzes, sing-a-longs, sim­ple cook­ery and much, much more. Why not go along, keep your brain ac­tive and have some fun? Shed Meets every Fri­day and Satur­day, from 10am to 2pm on Great West­ern Ter­race, next to the north side of Llanelli Rail Sta­tion. The ‘shed’ is where like-minded men who want to share their prac­ti­cal skills, learn new ex­per­tise and explore their tal­ents and in­ter­ests and so­cialise in a stress-free en­vi­ron­ment. Ramps skatepark will hold a skate­board-only night for over-18s from 8pm on Fri­day to 1am on Satur­day.
