Rotary Club held their James Bond 007 Ball at the Stradey Park Hotel, Llanelli, on Saturday, June 1. The evening was hosted by Llanelli Rotary president Alison Evans. Llanelli businessman Paul Harries kindly lent his Aston Martin to the Rotary Club for the pre-ball cocktails party. The evening featured a raffle, auction and entertainment by Emma Jay. A total of £3,000 was raised towards a special project at the Prince Philip Hospital chemotherapy unit. The money will held purchase a piece of equipment called ‘Accuvein’which aids the nursing team in identifying patient veins for venepuncture.
