Free pint of beer for dads

Llanelli Star - - LETTERS -

DADS can claim a welldeserved free pint of beer at the National Botanic Garden of Wales on Father’s Day.

The first 50 fathers through the door can claim their pint, while there is also free entry to the Llanarthne attraction for fathers on Sunday.

There will also be magic and balloon modelling by conjurer Jugglestruck and toe-tapping traditional Dixielandstyle jazz music from the Moonshine Boulevard band, plus two sets from the Welsh Whisperer, at 2pm and 3pm.

A spokesman said: “There is a guarantee of fun and laughter in this show by someone who states that his influences include ‘the breath of a mountain goat on a winter’s morning’.”

Entry is free for garden members and parking is free for all. The garden is open from 10am to 6pm with last entry at 5pm.
