British Legion headquarte­rs The Legion building is open for the bingo every Monday-Thursday, Saturday and Sunday evening. Usually at 8pm, admission 50p. Last bingo books 7.50pm.

Age Cymru Keep Fit This new keep fit class for people 50+has started at the Pensioners’ Annexe, Memorial Hall, and is on tomorrow and every Thursday from 10am to 11am. Litter pick The Pembrey and Burry Port Grab and Bag volunteer group will be meeting at the Graig Farmers Arms (Old Pub) SN 446 015 on Friday from 10am until noon. All equipment is provided but please be sure to bring a pair of gloves. As well as cleaning up our local areas volunteers can also sign up to receive time credits. St Mary’s Church will be holding its annual summer fete on Saturday, June 22, at 2pm in the church grounds. Please note that this date has been changed from the original date. Entrance fee £1 which includes tea or coffee. Stalls include cakes, books, jewellery, bric-a-brac, clothes, toys, tombola etc. Please come along and support St Mary’s and pick up a bargain at the same time.
