Monday, the snooker group meet in Terry Griffiths Snooker Hall at 10.15am for 10.30am, the book group are reading Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng and meet in Caroline’s home at 11am and the table tennis group meet in the leisure centre at 3pm. Tuesday, the cycling group meet at 10.30am and will be cycling from Dunvant to Blackpill, Swansea. The short walk group will walk around Pembrey Harbour. Meet in Car Park at 10.30am. CASM group meets every Tuesday evening from 5.30pm to 8.30pm at St Barnabus Hall, Llewellyn Street, Llanelli. We are a confidenti­al service, we can offer support and counsellin­g for the carer, we can also meet up outside of group meetings for an informal chat. CASM is an independen­t organisati­on based in Llanelli, a volunteer-led group dedicated to supporting those who care for a loved one who suffers from alcoholism or drug addiction. Angela of Goldies Cymru invites everyone to go along to Ffwrnes Theatre foyer this afternoon from 2pm to 3pm for an hour of fun and laughter. Llanelli Hospital League of Friends will meet this evening at 67pm in the hospital’s boardroom opposite the restaurant to make final arrangemen­ts for a strawberry tea on July 6. Llanelli Floral Art will hold a summer open evening with Alexander Pike entitled Glitz and Glamour at 7pm in the Catholic Church Hall, Waunlanyra­fon, this evening.

Llanelli Station Men’s Shed Meets every Friday and Saturday, from 10am to 2pm on Great Western Terrace, next to the north side of Llanelli Rail Station. The ‘shed’ is where like-minded men who want to share their practical skills, learn new expertise and explore their talents and interests and socialise in a stress-free environmen­t. Fourth annual Llanelli Singathon was held earlier this month in St Elli Centre to raise funds for Tenovus Cancer Care. Taking part were Carmarthen Ukeleles, Tenovus Choir, (Llanelli and Carmarthen) Hospital Notes, soloists Abi Thomas, Marc Angel and Dennis Lennox, Vocal Harmony and Silver Swing with MC Steve Eldridge. They all gave their time for free to help fundraisin­g.
