Kaycee has her locks chopped off for charity

-

A NINEYEAROLD girl from Tumble has cut her hair for charity.

Kaycee Rees had 14 inches chopped from her flowing locks all in aid of the Little Princess Trust which will use the hair to make wigs for children that have lost their hair through cancer.

The cut also raised £300 for the charity.

Her mum Nikkita said: “For the last two years she has done charity events along with myself and friends for the Alzheimers Society and Marie Curie.”

She added: “I am really proud of her and how selfless she is.

“If she can do anything to make things better for others she will.

“The hairdresser Donna Jones came to the house to do the cut and Kaycee’s brother, father, uncle, grandparents and great grandmother were there, too.

“Kaycee sat with the biggest smile on her face while he hair was cut, words really cannot explain how proud of Kaycee we are.”
