ALL-STAR 70S TRIBUTE

S CLUB 7 singer Rachel Stevens, Olympic gymnast Louis Smith and Pussycat Dolls star Melody Thornton, pictured above, are heading to the 1970s in hit jukebox theatre show Rip It Up The 70s.

The show will tour from September 13 and Rachel says: “What’s not to love about the music and fashion of the 70s? It’s going to be so much fun.”

WALLIAMS’ KIDS’ CLASSIC HITS STAGE

DAVID WALLIAMS’ bestsellin­g book Grandpa’s Great Escape is to tour UK arenas this Christmas in a multi-million pound production that will star Nigel Planer in the title role.

David says: “Being in arenas means we can have a life-size Spitfire, a tank, the London landscape and a dramatic escape from the Imperial War Museum. It’s great.”

The book about the adventures of a former Second World War flying ace and his grandson has been translated into 39 languages.

SUBO PLANS UK DATES

SUSAN BOYLE, pictured, is to tour the UK next year to celebrate 10 years since she first found fame on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent. The 58-year-old singer will be playing 15 cities from March 3 next year and says: “I left the world surprised 10 years ago and I want to surprise my fans again.”
