ALL-STAR 70S TRIBUTE

S CLUB 7 singer Rachel Stevens, Olympic gym­nast Louis Smith and Pussy­cat Dolls star Melody Thorn­ton, pic­tured above, are heading to the 1970s in hit juke­box theatre show Rip It Up The 70s.

The show will tour from Septem­ber 13 and Rachel says: “What’s not to love about the mu­sic and fash­ion of the 70s? It’s go­ing to be so much fun.”

WALLIAMS’ KIDS’ CLAS­SIC HITS STAGE

DAVID WALLIAMS’ best­selling book Grandpa’s Great Es­cape is to tour UK are­nas this Christ­mas in a multi-mil­lion pound pro­duc­tion that will star Nigel Planer in the ti­tle role.

David says: “Be­ing in are­nas means we can have a life-size Spit­fire, a tank, the Lon­don land­scape and a dra­matic es­cape from the Im­pe­rial War Mu­seum. It’s great.”

The book about the ad­ven­tures of a for­mer Sec­ond World War flying ace and his grand­son has been trans­lated into 39 lan­guages.

SUBO PLANS UK DATES

SU­SAN BOYLE, pic­tured, is to tour the UK next year to cel­e­brate 10 years since she first found fame on ITV’s Bri­tain’s Got Tal­ent. The 58-year-old singer will be play­ing 15 cities from March 3 next year and says: “I left the world sur­prised 10 years ago and I want to sur­prise my fans again.”
