Call out for soccer vets

FOOTBALLERS in the lower Teifi Valley are being given an opportunity to resurrect their careers with the formation of a veterans’ club.

A squad is being put together to play in the Wales Over-45s League next season, and a first friendly has been arranged against Merthyr at Penydarren Park this Sunday.

The local team will play on a Sunday during the season, with home games on the Cardigan Town pitch at King George V Playing Field.
