Cardis bag an early double with impressive triumph

A RUNAWAY 101-57 victory over Tregaron on the Gwbert Road green completed an impressive early season double for Cardigan in the Ceredigion Bowling Association.

Rink scores (Cardigan names first): Marc James 35 John Jones 11; Kevin James 16 Gareth Jones 20; Andrew Clarke 30 David Bennett 12; Paul Monders 21 Carl Gardner 14.

The top Cardigan rink was skipped by Marc James with Dilwyn Jones, Sid Freemantle and Gethin Davies.

Reigning champions Lampeter also doubled up by claiming a 105-58 win over visitors Aberaeron at the Rookery.
