Search is on for new secretary

THE Carmarthenshire Football League are extending their search for a new General Secretary.

Their current General Secretary, Colin Jenkins, is retiring after 15 years.

The post was advertised last month, but the league are renewing their search for a new administrator this week.

A former player and referee, Colin Jenkins devoted his life to football and was secretary of Porth Tywn Suburbs when they progressed from the local football ranks to the high echelons of the Welsh League in the mid 1990s and early 2000s before becoming Carmarthenshire League Secretary in 2004.
