Exciting times for art society

Llanelli Star - - NEWS -

IT’S a big week for Llanelli Art Society members.

Four of their members have been selected to exhibit their aviation paintings in The Mall Galleries in London as part of The Guild of Aviation Artists exhibition.

The same four artists will be exhibiting their work in Llanelli Art Society’s Summer Exhibition, which begins on Saturday, July 6.

The exhibition will run at Llanelli Library for two weeks.

Patricia Hazard, Llanelli Art Society Programme Secretary, said: “It’s a very exciting time for us all. The summer exhibition is always very popular and visitors will see a wide range of original works from all of our members, demonstrating the breadth of talent that exists in Llanelli.”

The exhibition will be officially opened by Llanelli Star columnist Juliet Phillips-James, coowner and director of Gomer Williams Solicitors.
