Station Men’s Shed Meets every Friday and Saturday, from 10am to 2pm on Great Western Terrace, next to the north side of Llanelli Rail Station. The ‘shed’ is where like-minded men who want to share their practical skills, learn new expertise and explore their talents and interests and socialise in a stress-free environment. Llanelli Art Society Summer art exhibition will open in the Athenaeum Hall, Llanelli Library, on Saturday at 11am. It will run for two weeks, closing at 5pm on Friday, July 19.
Llanelli Torch Fellowship Group For sight-impaired people will meet at 2.30pm in Emmanuel Baptist Church, New Dock Road, on Saturday.

Get-together success The first Llanelli Great Get-Together held in town last month was a huge success. There was entertainment for children and adults with stalls and a teddy bears’ picnic and treasure hunt. The weather was also kind, which encouraged people to stay longer and socialise.
