Joint choir con­cert Burry Port Male Choir in con­cert with guests the Snow­down Col­liery Wel­fare Male Voice Choir from Alye­sham, Can­ter­bury, Kent is on Fri­day at 7pm in the Me­mo­rial Hall, Burry Port.Guest artist is so­prano Nikkila Thomas. Guest mu­si­cal direc­tor Michael Lewis and guest ac­com­pa­nists Aileen Dickson and Ger­ard Ah­ern.Com­pere Ian Rees. Tick­ets at £5 from cho­ris­ters or on the door.

Lit­ter pick The Pem­brey and Burry Port Grab and Bag vol­un­teer group will be meet­ing at the football pitch/New School football pitch car park SN 453 005 on Fri­day from 10am un­til noon. All equip­ment is pro­vided but please be sure to bring a pair of gloves. As well as clean­ing up our lo­cal ar­eas vol­un­teers can also sign up to re­ceive time credits.
