Two in court over alleged assault outside club
TWO men have appeared in court following an alleged assault outside a Llanelli nightclub which left a man hospitalised.
The incident happened outside The Met Bar on Station Road just before 1am on Sunday morning.
A male was taken to hospital with what are believed to be serious injuries, police have said.
Yesterday, Joseph Edmund Price, of Maes Y Dderwen, Llangennch, and Stephen Kyle Price, 20, Nantwen, Llanelli, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates Court jointly charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding a male with intent to cause grevious bodily harm. Joseph Price, aged 24, also faced a charge of assaulting another male causing actual bodily harm and they both also faced a charge of using threatening unlawful violence towards other persons. A fourth charge of possessing a knuckle duster in Haverfordwest on July 8 was also put to Joseph Price.
No pleas were entered by both defendants and the case will now go to Swansea Crown Court on August 9. Both were granted conditional bail until that hearing.
