Llanelli Art Society Summer art exhibition continues at the Athenaeum Hall, Llanelli Library, until 5pm on Friday, July 19. On Saturday there will be a workshop from noon to 4pm at Sandy Hall. Crafty Seniors Invite all local knitters, those who crochet, sew or are in any way crafty to go along to Ffwrnes Theatre today at 11.30am. All levels of skill and age welcome! Fun and laughter Angela from Goldies Cymru invites everyone along today between 2pm and 3pm for an hour of fun and laughter in Ffwrnes Theatre foyer. Llanelli Hospital League of Friends will meet at 7pm tonight in the hospital boardroom (opposite the restaurant). Llanelli Floral Art Society will hold a demonstrat­ion entitled Men, Me and Flowers with Beverley Clay, this evening in the Catholic Church Hall, Waunlanyra­fon at 7pm.

Llanelli and District Probus Club Meeting at 10.30am on the first and third Thursday of every month in Furnace Rugby Club. We are a group of like-minded, retired, profession­al people, offering social interation, light refreshmen­ts and invited speakers.

Station Men’s Shed Meets every Friday and Saturday, from 10am to 2pm on Great Western Terrace, next to the north side of Llanelli Rail Station. The ‘shed’ is where like-minded men who want to share their practical skills, learn new expertise and explore their talents and interests and socialise in a stress-free environmen­t.
