Band concert Burry Port Town Band presents an evening of music from the stage and shows on Saturday, July 20, at 7pm in the Memorial Hall. The show is featuring the senior band, the ever growing junior band and a very special guest artist, Samuel Wyn-Morris. Pembrey Burry Port WI Meet on Tuesday at 2pm in Jerusalem Chapel vestry. Aled the Chimney Sweep has Tales of a Sweep. The competition has a Mary Poppins theme. The WI meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

Age Cymru Keep Fit This new keep-fit class for people 50+has started at the Pensioners’ Annexe, Memorial Hall, and is on every Thursday from 10am to 11am. Volunteers needed Age Cymru Sir Gâr are looking for volunteers to help older people stay warm and save energy by installing radiator reflectors, nightlights, energy-saving lightbulbs and timer sockets in their homes. Why not make a difference and make someone feel more independent in their own home? Volunteering is flexible, giving up one hour a week or one day a week, you still make a difference.
