James boys steal the show
CARDIGAN brothers Kevin and Colin James stole the limelight in the four-day Ceredigion Bowling Association finals at Aberaeron.
Welsh international Kevin successfully defended his Open Singles title and in the process set a record by winning for the third year on the trot.
Lampeter kingpin Nick Randell was expected by many to push James, but he did not mount a serious challenge to the champion, who romped home by 21 shots to six.
James joined elder brother Colin, the current Cardigan captain, to win the Open Pairs for the second year in succession. They beat Lampeter duo Andrew Williams and Henry Jones 21-13.

The national finals are being held in Llandrindod Wells from August 9 to 16.
