Cardis close gap at summit

THE gap at the top of the Ceredigion Bowling Associatio­n division one table has been reduced to three points after leaders and reigning champions Lampeter conceded ground to secondplac­ed Cardigan for the second week in succession.

The top two go head to head on the Gwbert Road green in Cardigan at the end of the month in the penultimat­e batch of fixtures that may decide the title outcome.

Cardigan eased to a 104-52 win at Aberaeron.
