The Cycling Group will ride from Burry Port to Pembrey (a re-run of the April ride that had to be cancelled due to poor weather), leaving at 10.30am. Tomorrow, the University Challenge Quiz Group meets in Julia’s home at 2pm and the Agatha Quizties Quiz Group meets in Llanerch Community Centre at 2pm. On Friday, the Play Reading Group meets in Julia’s home at 2pm. On Sunday, the Sunday Lunch Group meets at Burns, Parc y Bocs, Kidwelly, at 12.30pm. Children’s summer activities continue at Llanelli Library. Summer reading challenge – Space Chase! Ages 14 and under. Monday, Lego for all ages; Tuesday, colouring for ages two and over; Wednesday, 10.15am-11am and 2pm-3pm, Lego and storytime sessions for under-eights; Thursday, games for ages three-plus; Friday, crafts for ages two-plus. Soup Station is held from 6.30pm to 8.30pm every Wednesday at Greenfield Chapel. There will be soup, bread rolls, cakes, biscuits, tea and coffee and a big, friendly welcome. Why not drop in?

Llanelli Naturalist­s will take a walk tomorrow at Moat Farm, Llandyry. This will be a wildlife and history walk around parts of the farm not seen in 2018, followed by an evening bat watch led by Alex Gill. Participan­ts please meet at the farm, SN433052, at 7pm.

Station Men’s Shed Meets every Friday and Saturday, from 10am to 2pm on Great Western Terrace, next to the north side of Llanelli Rail Station. The ‘shed’ is where like-minded men who want to share their practical skills, learn new expertise and explore their talents and interests and socialise in a stress-free environmen­t. Ramps Skatepark will hold a skateboard-only night for over-18s on from 8pm on Friday to 1am on Saturday. Llanelli Ramblers will take a six-mile moderate walk today in Cilycwm.
