Carnival! The village carnival is on Saturday. The procession will leave top square near Maddocks at 12.30pm and finish at the park where there will be plenty of stalls and entertainment. Park clean-up Tumble Rugby Club is holding its annual clean-up of the park and changing rooms on Saturday, August 3. Volunteers are asked to meet at the changing rooms at 9.30am. Jobs include painting railings, cementing kerbs, general maintenance, various improvement work and litter picking around the fields. The work will finish at around 1.30pm so members can then enjoy a game of cricket and a barbecue.
