Scarlets the ‘home’ team in Judgement

THE Scarlets and Ospreys will be the ‘home’ teams at Judgement Day for the first time in the coming season.

For the first seven years of the double header event at the Principality Stadium, the derbies have been home fixtures for Cardiff Blues and the Dragons.

But, as part of a new four-year deal with the WRU, the two West Wales sides will surrender home fixtures every other season.

So on Saturday, April 18, the Ospreys will be ‘home’ to the Dragons (3pm), with the Scarlets ‘hosting’ Cardiff Blues at 5.15pm.

Meanwhile, the Scarlets get their PRO14 campaign under way with a home clash against Connacht on Saturday, September 28. They head to Glasgow the following Friday.
