Bont match is rained off

PONTARDDULAIS are back to fifth in the South Wales Premier League after their match at Bridgend was called off at the weekend following heavy rain.

It was the only match in the top flight to fall victim to the wet weather which swept across Wales on Friday and early Saturday.

They are now two points adrift of Port Talbot Town and Cardiff, who share third position.

And they are 25 points back on St Fagans and Neath, who meet this Saturday.

Bont will look to boost their fading title hopes on Saturday when they host Cardiff.
