Jones the hero in final

PAUL Jones was the hero in the Carmarthen Summer Darts League’s Blind Fours final at the Railway Club.

Winning through to the final were the teams of Richard Jupp (Coracle A), Nicky Goldsmith (Nomads), Steff Webster (Plume) and Alistair Bromley (Mansel), who took on the quartet of Dorian Bowen (Coracle A), Paul Jones (Coracle B), Lee Buxton (Friends) and Dai Lewis (Plough and Harrow).

In a tense final the difference was the finishing of Jones, who claimed both doubles for his team.

This week the league returns to league action with the following fixtures: Coracle A v Gremlin Warriors, Stag’s Head v Railway Shunters, Queens v Coracle B, Friends v Stag Nomads, Gremlin A v Plough and Harrow, Plume v Mansel.
