Champs on glory trail as chief rivals drop points

REIGNING champions Lampeter are hot favourites to retain their title in this year’s Ceredigion Bowling Association.

Leaders Cardigan and secondplaced Lampeter prepare to go head to head at the Gwbert Road green in Cardigan today.

But the Cardis dropped four shots against Aberystwyth in their latest outing and go into the crunch game only three ahead of their rivals, who have a game in hand.

To stand a realistic chance of lifting the title, Colin James and Co need to pile up the points against the champions.
