Pride was such a treat

I VISITED Llanelli for your amazing Pride event on Saturday (I’m not from the area).

I really feel someone should be recognising the chairman and team for a community award as it is by far the friendliest, most inclusive and well run Pride I have ever attended . . . and couldn’t believe it was the first one the town has held! I was so impressed, I’m even considering moving, as I’ve never met so many lovely, friendly people in one place. Really changed my opinion of Llanelli!

I just wanted to say what an absolutely wonderful experience Pride Llanelli was. I took my three children down and they just loved it. Everyone was just full of love. And it was important to me to show my children that love is love and Llanelli Pride showed that. We can’t wait for next year.

WHAT an amazing day Saturday was. The whole event was meticulously well organised and the atmosphere was incredible. The organisers did Llanelli proud. I am a member of Rock Choir and we performed three sets during the day and the majority of us stayed all day, soaking up the atmosphere. I hope I speak for them all when I say we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Well done Paul Francis and team.

I have been to several such events throughout the UK over the years but none have been as well organised, enjoyable and just as downright friendly as this one. In the four years since I moved to Llanelli I have never been to an event that brought everyone together as much as this day did. Can’t wait for next year, have already booked the day off!
