Town did them proud

-

LLANELLI Pride Day was shocking in the sense that the committee who worked so so hard did not expect what they got.

Llanelli did them proud that day.

The parade was massive with about 1,500 people all dressed up, holding banners and so many children wanting to enjoy themselves. Complete strangers were chatting with each other as though they were old friends, sharing thoughts, ideas and jokes.

When we arrived at the Selwyn Samuel Centre, we were met by people who were already there and who started cheering and filming, and all we could do was to laugh and wave.

So much was available for families and for anyone else. Every type of food was there.

It was extraordinary, with hundreds and hundreds of people who just kept coming along all day.
