Watchdog calls for volunteers
MORE volunteers are needed to join the community health council in west Wales.
Hywel Dda CHC (Community Health Council) has locality groups for the three health board counties – Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion – with a quarter of members made up of people involved with voluntary organisations.
Other CHC representatives are appointed by Welsh Government and the local authority.
At a Pembrokeshire locality meeting, chairman David Bryan highlighted the need for more members. He said that Welsh Government vacancies are currently being advertised and anyone interested is urged to get in touch.
