Garden is ‘thrilling’
THE National Botanic Garden of Wales is “hands down one of Britain’s most phenomenal gardens – wholly deserving of a full day’s exploration”.
That is what one of the world’s most iconic travel guides Lonely Planet has said about the Carmarthenshire attraction in its latest publication The Ultimate United Kingdom Travelist – which features the very best of Britain’s unmissable destinations.
The guide describes the National Botanic Garden near Llanarthne as “a thrilling floral romp” which “commands sensational views” and features the biggest single-span glasshouse in the world. It is ranked at 261 out of 500 attractions and places to visit across the UK.
