Eynon still in fine form

THE second race in the Poppit Sands 5k series saw six runners from Taf Running and Orienteering taking part in wet and blustery conditions.

Club champion Lindy Eynon maintained her fine run of form after her call-up for the Welsh Masters in the Barry 10k. She was third lady in 42nd overall, winning her age category in 22 minutes and 38 seconds.

Almost a minute ahead was Nick Merrony in 29th place.

Mair Morgan was 70th, Dylan Evans 75th, Jayne Evans 100th and Sonya Jones 103rd.
