Upper Gwendraeth Valley Food Bank Please pass on the message about this food bank which has been set up for individual­s or families who have been affected economical­ly by the Covid-19 pandemic. Those eligible have either become unemployed as a result of the pandemic, or been placed on furlough, or lost income because of reduced hours or are self-employed and waiting for benefits, Based in Tumble Hall, it serves the north of the Gwendraeth Valley from Gorslas to Ponthenri and food parcels will be distribute­d on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Sometimes it may be able to supply food for pet dogs and cats. Please contact 01269 841213 (option 7) or speak to Sue James, Llannon Community Council’s developmen­t officer, 07832 187600.
