The eyes have it as home is most viewed

A LLANELLI family home has topped the list of the top 10 most viewed on a leading property site for July.

Amongst multi-million-pound properties in London – including a £55m house in the heart of Mayfair – a West Wales four-bedroom property was among the most popular.

The Llanelli property topped the list on Zoopla last month, with a four-bedroom family home near Neath also featuring.

The most viewed on the Zoopla list was a four-bedroom detached house in Llanelli.

This property has a contemporary feel and was listed for the first time on Zoopla at the start of July this year. Sold subject to contract, the house was priced at £620,000.

The house has modern features throughout and has been finished to a high standard with no work needed.

Despite being located just a short drive from the A4138, the property offers beautiful views to the Loughor Estuary and beyond.

The master bedroom’s balcony with its vaulted roof allows you to make the most of these views.

In addition to the beautiful balcony, the bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe that provides access to the loft, and an ensuite with a walkin shower.

The ground floor also houses a home gym, which could work as a second home office in addition to the study, which is also on the ground floor.

The house is spacious, with a large kitchen, dining and living area on the ground floor fitted with wooden flooring and a kitchen island. From here, an oak wooden staircase leads to the first floor where the spaciousness continues, with a large and bright landing area, which benefits from large floor-toceiling windows.

There’s also a well-presented outdoor area, with an elevated patio, lawn and a further decking area, providing plenty of space for entertaining outside.

The property, located in the Bryn area of Llanelli, has been sold subject to contract and was on the market with Dawsons, Llanelli.

With properties such as these appearing on the list of the most viewed in the UK, it suggests many people using property portals are indeed not just browsing dream homes but actually hunting for their new or first home.

The list also suggests the thought that, as a result predominantly of the Covid-19 pandemic, people are looking for more space and more privacy, with many of the homes being viewed falling into the fourbed, detached category.

Five of the top properties viewed on Zoopla in July were detached, of which three had four bedrooms, one had six, and one had three.
