The monthly lecture is taking its summer break and restarting on Wednesday, October 12, with The Lost Generation, given by Claire Firth at Felinfoel Community Centre at 2.30pm. Thursday, September 1: Baduanjin exercise 10am, Pwll Playing Fields (weather permitting). Boules 10.30am, Pwll Playing Fields (weather permitting). Friday, September 2: Light Hearted Look, 2.30pm, Royalty and Scandal, Llanerch Community Centre Hoel Nant-y-Felin SA15 3PA. Monday, September 5: Snooker, 10.15am, The Conservative Club, 2 Cowell Street, SA14 1UU. Table tennis 3pm, Llanelli Leisure Centre, Park Crescent, SA15 3AE. Tuesday, September 6: Coffee morning 10.30am, Ty Gwyn Community Church, Vauxhall Road, Llanelli. SA15 3BD. Bring your own coffee mug please. Boules 2pm, Pwll Playing Fields (weather permitting). Wednesday, September 7: Lunch and ten pin bowling 12.30pm, meet at the Pavilion, Pwll Playing Fields, for lunch at Excel Bowl 1pm, 2pm bowling at Excel Bowl, Llansteffan Road, Johnstown SA31 3BP. Thursday, September 8: Baduanjin exercise 10am, Pwll Playing Fields (weather permitting). Boules 10.30am, Pwll Playing Fields (weather permitting). Monday, September 12: Strollers And Striders 10.15am for 10.30am. Circular walk from Kidwelly taking in Kymer Canal and Quay. Striders 6k, Strollers can reduce this. Lunch at Parc y Bocs. Start from car park immediately left after crossing over the Kidwelly River Bridge. Tuesday, September 13: Boules 2pm, Pwll Playing Fields, Tramway Road, Off Pwll Road SA15 4AR (Weather permitting). The next Sunday lunch group will be on Sunday, September 25. Venue to be decided. Wednesday, September 14: 30th anniversary lunch 12.30pm, Ashburnham Hotel, Burry Port SA16 0TH.
