■ ‘No make-up’ make-up gets a glow up with Bobbi Brown’s glimmering
Real Nudes 3.0 collection. Inspired by a “sun-kissed summer glow” (read: fresh-faced and radiant, rather than sunburnt and sweaty), you’ll find four new subtly shimmery shades of Highlighting Powder, £39, and three extra additions to the Crushed Oil-Infused Lip Gloss line-up, £22, perfect for adding a touch of golden hour glam to your look.
■ Dermalogica’s Daily Microfoliant, the iconic powder exfoliator, now comes in this new, gentler version. With an ingredients list that reads like a breakfast recipe (oat, coconut milk, grape extract), Daily Milkfoliant, £59, is less gritty than the original, making it an excellent choice for sensitive, stressed or rosaceaprone skin. Just add a splash of water and watch it turn into a creamy, comforting texture.
■ Want to reduce wrinkles in under a week? That’s the claim behind Kiehl’s potent new Fast Release Wrinkle-Reducing Night Serum, which penetrates the skin 15 layers deep to boost skin renewal while you sleep. Clinical studies showed visible improvements in fine lines after just five days and 100% of users saw a reduction in even deep-set wrinkles after eight weeks. It’s available at kiehls. co.uk from 24 August and then nationwide from 7 September, recommended for skin already used to retinol.
■ Morphe 2 is the more subtle sibling to the uber-glam original Morphe make-up. So it’s no surprise that its latest Wink & Wow Nourishing Mascara, £12, doesn’t just lengthen lashes but looks after them, too, thanks to a vitamin E-infused formula.
A heads-up: the tube looks tiny but a careful study of the packaging revealed that, like some sort of cosmetics Tardis, it actually contains more mls than our previous mascara, which lasted for a good six months.
